Entering Your Images

By entering images to our monthly competitions, you are agreeing to their terms, conditions and rules.

Image Size and Preparation

Your images will display at their best in the slideshow if you prepare your them at 450 pixels high and 600 pixels wide with appropriate sharpening. Both JPEG and PNG format images are catered for.

If you do not have image editing software, click here to read my recommendations (includes freeware).

Best option for very large files:-

The entry form and server will not handle very large files (over 1.5mb).

If you haven't got time to prepare smaller images and are sending files over 1.5mb in size (perhaps full size photos, straight from your camera), you will have to send them as email attachments to entry@peterfinch.name. Please include your full name, the name of the month you are entering, and a title for each image.

Completing the Form

Please fill in your full name, email address, competition month, and the name/ title of your photo; then click the "Browse for Your Image" button to locate the photo file on your computer. Next, click the submit button.

Once you've entered your first image, simply repeat the process to enter you second and final image.
